BC Discovery Fund is the 7th venture
capital investment fund launched by Discovery Capital since 1993.
BC Discovery Fund offers investors the opportunity to invest in early-stage
technology ventures in British Columbia that are often only available to
angel investors or institutional investors. In addition, investors receive
a tax credit of 30% on investments of up to $200,000.

30% Fully Refundable Provincial Tax Credit
Venture Capital Corporation (VCC) tax credits are fully refundable. Even
if an investor does not owe any provincial tax, he or she will receive a
full 30% tax credit refund from the Provincial government. The maximum tax
credit is $60,000 per individual per year for BC residents.
